Sly is an 9-year-old 15.2h APHA gelding. Owner has a young horse coming on and doesn't want this gelding to sit-- This horse has been a go-to trail horse practically his whole life. Smooth gaited and easy to ride. Most recently has been doing flatwork and trails.
No issues. Can set for months and will ride off. Forward ride- no buck or spook. Still needs some support & focus out in a group. Sly is definitely the class clown! Hobbles. Really quite independent- needs a leg on to leave a group but not a kick ride. Doesn't love jumping but will & has been schooled XC & crossrails.- Hasn't been fox hunted but we believe he would be a hill-topper in no time!!! Great horse to pony off of. Has been solid for guests and leadline with the littles.
Big ground eating walk.Great transitions & whoa. Phenomenal ground manners- not twitchy at all. Good to spray, catch, trailer, and farrier. Sz1 shoe all the way around. 1 blemish, never taken a lame step. Sly will pass a vet check. UTD on all cares. Spring tuneup of 2023 shown in video, he's been ridden consistently in a solid all-around program since then.
