A lot of thought went into this cross and he is perfect! He’s very nicely built and square for being 6 months old he is a tank with awesome hip, bone and muscle. He’s going to be a looker for sure! My mare is off the Promised Land Ranch who puts out some really nice using horses all around the world. She is dog gentle for kids, can sit for a year and you can hop on and ride out without issue. She’s a good mix of Hancock, Poco Bueno and Driftwood.
The stallion has great temperament, is trick trained, and out of another nice program, XXX Fisher Quarter Horses who also have a lot of really nice using ranch type horses all over with good minds and athleticism. The colt who we call Hawk will be a nicely built bay roan foundation Hancock/Blue Valentine bred Quarter Horse. 5 panel negative. He most likely will be silver year round like his mom who’s only technically bay roan by the tip of her nose and dad is homozygous blue roan. He has a pretty head, will have mane and tail for days, and should mature a stout 15 hands, 1200 lbs plus. He’s such a love! Comes running and follows you around for scratches, you can mess with him anywhere but he’s a very respectful . He’s been hauled with mom a ton, hops right in the trailer, had feet done, will be current on vaccines , dewormings etc. He’s used to kids, dogs, horses running and riding all around him and follows mom along on trails. He’s very mellow, well behaved, level headed and shows so much potential ! He’s pretty independent of mom and just calmly walks along the fence/panels/gates/pastures until he finds his way to her vs trying to run through to get to her .
