This very kind, personable, sensitive, handsome, will do anything for you and aging well guy is still looking for his perfect person! 2010 15.3h Andalusian G (registered as half as dam didn’t have papers but is full breed). Apollo has the moves to be a great dance partner and is suitable for someone who would like to play at dressage, western dressage, working equitation, hacking out, and or liberty trick training. He has some experience in all of it but none of it to a high level, though the ability is there should someone want to further his training to the upper levels despite his youthful serviceably sound age. His perfect person has enough experience and ability to ride with independent aids, the confidence to let go, and is able to move as well as he does but doesn’t need to be highly skilled, he’s pretty AA friendly and tolerant. He’s not hot or spooky and in fact just today, after a week off, no prep, and with a significant temperature drop, he was one of the only horses in the arena who not only didn’t buck and fart but he didn’t even react to the ones that were. However, he can get anxious in the typical situations that make a lot of sensitive horses anxious (electric new environments, strong corrections, lots of pressure etc) so really would do best with a person who won’t also get anxious and has enough horse sense to read and adjust to where he is at. Very quick to learn new things, really stays focused on his person, and just a joy to train in every way. He really would be an absolute blast for liberty and trick training! Cavalia anyone? Nice manners on the ground, does all the things, comes to the gate to be caught and has a wonderful engaging personality. Apollo is pretty perfect but not quite, reflected in what we are asking of course, so a great way to get a very high quality guy for less to have fun with if these things don’t spook you. He is, as previously mentioned, serviceably sound and currently what was needed was an arathamid injection a year and half ago and still going just fine. Findings are totally normal for age says the non concerned vet. And, it is suspected, but not known for sure, that way back in his past there was some dance training. This is suspected because of his scars, not because of crazy behavior, no meltdowns, he doesn’t buck, etc. Don’t abuse him but why would you do that anyway? His person is divorcing him because she wants to do endurance and that’s just not his thing. Best reasonable offers considered to perfect person. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4LL7bOapkI (note: dressage rider in video is 5’10” so he is actually a bigger mover then that makes him look).
