You will feel like a King riding King! He is a regal guy in every way. King has a fancy handle on him with extensive reining training when he was younger and NRHA earnings. He would excel in ranch riding, ranch versatility and even working equitation. For the past 6 years he has been used as a ranch/trail horse. He is the one you want to take out in rough country as he is incredibly sure footed with a rein-swinging walk. He has a nice comfortable stride and can really cover some ground. He has 3 very smooth gaits and is athletic and handy for his size and a beautiful mover. He is responsive and sporty making him a really fun ride and suitable for intermediate riders on up. There is no naughty business with him, he just has all the buttons so not for a complete novice. He really enjoys working cattle, has been used to gather and work in the branding pen and loves his job. He is a quiet horse by nature and does well out by himself or in groups, he is comfortable riding with dogs, easily opens and closes gates etc. He is easy to haul, has great ground manners, good for the farrier and an overall gentleman. King is one of those rare handsome geldings that do not come around that often! Only available because his owner is getting out of horses.
