Meet Troy, an absolute gentleman through and through.
Troy is very well broke to drive in every form and fashion that you could think of. Stands quietly to hook and walks off nicely. Drive him once a month or every day and he’s always uncomplicated.
Has great ground manners in every way and pleasant to be around. Stands tied anywhere, for bathing, grooming, and the farrier.
Troy has been on lots of trail rides and willing goes down a trail whether you’re riding bareback or in any type of saddle. Goes through and crosses water. Follows behind or goes in the lead.
Troy would make a fantastic dressage prospect as he has very correct movement with an excellent hind leg however he is green in this aspect, simply because we have only just started him in this kind of work, but he is truly a champ and learning more about it every day. He is of course not for a beginner currently but absolutely has the mind and calmness to be a AA horse with more time and in a program. I currently have a young girl riding him unsupervised and he is a perfect gentleman with her!
