I bought Gypsy 1 year ago from Friesan Market Place.I am being upfront and honest about her background with me. My understanding is after she was imported, she went into heavy training for 9 months and then I bought her. They trained her english and western. Unfortunately, this 66 yr old rider has been through severe health issues in the past year and has not been able to provide consistent training which she needs. Gypsy is smart and kind and she is also a young mare with a strong (not mean) personality. I am not skilled enough nor have the energy to provide her with what she needs in a partner. I paid $25,000 for her but am willing to negotiate to find the right home for her. Most of the skills I list below came from the Friesan Marketplace ad when I bought her. I don't have films, but you might be able to see some when she was listed as Caroline at Friesan Marketplace. I know they have one video of her on their website. I hate to see her go but I know I'm not the strong, consistent, confident rider she deserves. No major vices but she can be rough around the edges with her ground manners. Has a fantastic canter and loves to go! I am working with a new trainer consistently with her until she is sold to the right home. No medical issues, stands for ferrier, loads easily on trailer, up to date on shots/vaccines.
