Matty has been off the track since age 4. He is forward-thinking, sensitive, doesn’t require much leg, and is consistent between rides- doesn’t need to be ridden every day. Has done general flatwork (leg yield, bending, shoulder-in, transitions) and some small crossrails/jumps. Easy to handle around the farm and a total gentleman for the farrier, vet, dentist, etc. Matty is not for a beginner as he is sensitive and can get quick/strong at the canter, but is great for the rider that appreciates forward thoroughbreds. Ideally, he would go to someone taking lessons regularly to help him work on balance and bring him along. Currently in front shoes but can go barefoot when the weather is not so hot and dry.
