Extremely hard decision here I've owned this mare for 6 years. And not until the last year she has turned herd sour. Pacing in her stall and sweating herself out. Not being mean towards anybody but once you get one-on-one with her she is the sweetest horse she's standing over me while I'm writing this. She had a very rough life as a race horse she was sent to a kill pen found and rescued. But with her rough life she hated people. Her and I bonded . I started playing with her making her think doing things with Liberty training. This horse will rear up on command from the ground, not under saddle. She will cross your front legs when you tell her cross tap the back of her legs, one of them and she will bow down to one knee. Tap both and she'll get down on both front knees I mainly ride her bareback with just a halter and a lead rope tied into the halter. I've taken her all over our property that way you can run equipment next to her. I'll have him take her out when I spread manure and go from the tractor to her back. So writing this is year filled . I love these horse. Next fact is I'm 260 and she is 1000 and 15 years old she needs front shoes like I said she hade a hard race life With both front legs severely pin fired . I don't want to hurt her but too much weight on her back or asking too much out of her you would make a wonderful woman's horse or a young girl. I just had her out for training just as a refinement on what she already knows The trainer said she was wonderful. She could use a few pounds but that's from her getting hyper and sweating out burning all her calories. So a sale on this horse will happen with the right person but I would definitely be very choosy on who takes her. I have to see their bond with her and her response to them also. I will always reserve the right to buy her back if something happens
