Ella is a 12-year-old grade Arabian, standing approximately 14hh. She was started under saddle in 2018 and has primarily been used as a Trail horse. Ella had 60 days refresher with a trainer in May 2024, and is currently being ridden professionally several days each week. She has been ridden lightly in the arena and has exceptionally beautiful, smooth, natural gaits. She willingly walks over obstacles, including tarps (see video). She knows whoa, and has a good stop, can back, turn on the forehand, side pass, and is started of hindquarter turns. The trainers who have worked with her this year agree that she has great potential to be an outstanding dressage or western dressage horse because she is such an exceptional mover. She is still relatively green in the arena and will need an experienced rider to bring out her best. Ella loves and excels on trails. She has a lot of experience trail riding, will ride out alone with a confident rider and will ride in front, middle or back. She has been to the beach, crossed water, bridges, mud, and logs. She will step over logs or jump them, whichever you ask of her you will get. She loves horse camping, does great alone in a corral, and respects hot wire. Ella has great ground manners, will come running to greet you when you call her but can get pushy if you allow it. She loves to be groomed, will stand cross tied, and tied to a trailer and is NOT herd bound. She loads and hauls well. Stands great for the farrier, has good feet (front shoes only), is good with the Vet, and up to date on shots and veterinary care. The owner really loves this horse and may be negotiable to the right home.
