Ella is a natural on the trails. She's been there done that, clinics, the beach, overnight camping - she overnights well, does great alone in a stall or corral, and respects hot wire. She's been on a variety of trails and has proven to be a reliable and sure-footed ride every time, handling a multitude of obstacles / attractions with ease, including water crossings, bridges, tarps, cyclists, vehicles, and dogs taking all in stride. She will ride out alone with a confident rider and will ride in front, middle or back of a group. She can sit for a month or two and go back out on the trails and be the same horse. Ella has had some natural horsemanship training - at Joel Conner and Buck clinics, and some Parelli with a trainer a few years ago... recently finished 60 days tune-up with a trainer in May 2024, and is currently being ridden; she's got a good stop, back, and works well off the leg. She has the movement to be an eye-catcher in the show ring and she's comfortable to ride, however she is still relatively green in the arena and can get flustered with an impatient or uncertain rider. She really blossoms under a confident, collaborative rider. Ella loves her people, will come running to greet you when you call her but she can get pushy if you allow it. She's easy to handle for grooming/tacking, will stand cross tied, and tied to a trailer, does not pull back, and is not herd bound. She loads and hauls well, stands great for the farrier, has good feet (front shoes only), is good with the Vet, and up to date on shots and veterinary care. The owner really loves this horse and may be negotiable to the right home, or potentially an in-barn lease. Please call 425-761-2124 for more information.
