Look no further! Odiseo is a lovely 15.1 hand, 6 year old registered dun Azteca gelding imported from Mexico. With a Lusitano sire and a Quarter Horse dam, he inherited the best of both worlds in terms of intelligence, athleticism, versatility and personality! He has an outgoing personality and laid back temperament, he’s always a gentleman and will try to the ends of the earth for his rider. Over the past year, Odiseo has been in professional training with an emphasis on dressage and working equitation. He is competently schooling first level movements and attended his first WE schooling school this past May with a solid performance at L1. He loads and settles well on outings, has traveled well with groups or solo, and is a real joy to bring along. You can sense the pride he takes in working with his rider, but he also has a great sense of humor and can take a joke or mistake. Odiseo has no vices or bad habits, has been easy to take out and about, loves the trails and water, and is just as happy honing his skills in the arena! His training includes groundwork, trailering, trail riding, w/t/c in western tack and dressage tack, and proficiency with all working equitation and mountain trail course obstacles. We still consider Odiseo green and a bit of a late bloomer, as he is very limber and supple and does best when given time to strengthen in newly introduced elements. He would be best suited for a professional or intermediate AA in a program to ensure he maintains confidence as he develops. Odiseo has thrived in a busy environment and out on field board, gets along very well with feildmates, and will be the same guy even after time off. He is UTD on Coggins, vaccinations, dental work, and has a set of clean radiographs at purchase from his breeder in 2022. Currently, Odiseo has front shoes and stands well for the farrier and vets. Odiseo can fulfill your dreams with continued investment time and training. Price will increase as his training progresses. Tons of video available upon request. Serious inquiries are welcome.
