Gorgeous registered black and white Shetland Pony mare for sale. She is around 38-39". She has a beautiful Arab type head and moves like an Arab as well. She has strong and beautiful trot. Born in 2013, she has been a broodmare for a good part of her life and has produced a number of lovely foals. I purchased her from a Miniature Horse breeding farm in California. She had a colt in tow. I did a little research on her past foals and came up with 2, plus another in a photo I received before purchase. I bred her to my Mini stallion last year and we just had a little bay pinto colt in May. All of her babies have been pintos so it appears she breeds true. There are a couple black and white, a couple bay and white and possibly one chestnut and white (you could only see its little rump in the picture, so could be light bay). Because of her being a broodmare for so long, she is not broken to ride or pull a cart. She does however, have good basic ground training- leads, is good with the farrier, stands pretty well for bathing, grooming etc, stands tied for a long time. She could be trained by someone who knows what they are doing and do well. She is up on all of her vaccinations, worming and farrier services. She has good, strong, straight legs and great feet.
