Major is a 14 year old 16 hand reg AQHA gelding. Major is the absolute sweetest in your pocket guy who is always first to greet you at the gate. He is very laid back, loves scratches and loves having a job. Major was used on a ranch at the beginning of his career and as a trail horse. He was then ridden English and did some low level jumping. He has been used in lessons as well. He neck reins, collects, backs, side passes and pivots. He has some fancy buttons. He is a forward gelding and likes to move out so recommend an advanced beginner or above only for that reason. He has gone through water, over bridges and loves trail riding. Not spooky on trails at all. Can go out alone or with others. He truly has done a bit of everything and can go in any direction. He can be stalled or turned out with other horses. Hops in the trailer and is very quiet. Major is UTD on worming, vaccines and teeth floating. He wears a full set of shoes and is great for the farrier. He has no injuries or vices. Major does require some regular maintenance. He has been ridden by a 12 year old this past year and is very safe. You can ride him bare back in a halter. He is only for sale as his owner is getting involved in sports and it’s not fair for him to sit. He is truly a gem. Someone is going to be very lucky to get this guy.
