Standing at just over 14hh, he has a compact, athletic build and a charming presence that sets him apart. Artax boasts an abundance of personality, coupled with a curious and adventurous spirit that makes him a joy to be around. He is incredibly intelligent and eager to please, taking to trail courses with ease and confidence. He navigates obstacles such as bridges, tarps, flags, logs, tires, water, and more with poise and grace. This gelding has a superb foundation in his training, with excellent flexion, and precise maneuverability. He’s on the more woah side but will go when asked. He turns around, stops, and backs on command, and moves smoothly through the walk, trot, and lope. Artax is a versatile partner who can excel in a variety of disciplines, from trail riding to working cow horse classes. Artax is a gentleman to handle, loading and hauling quietly, standing tied patiently, and accepting saddling and bridling without fuss. He is well-behaved for farrier care and has a smart, shiny coat that turns heads. He adores attention and bathes, although he does enjoy a good roll afterwards!
