Rifle is a stunning six-year-old, 36-inch palomino gelding with a bright flax mane and tail. He is a head turner and an eye-catcher in any crowd with all his chrome! The best part about him is his gentle, people-loving personality. Rifle is easy to catch and safely handles all four feet. Our six-year-old daughter trained him all by herself. That’s just the kind of gentle he is. Rifle has graduated our 4-step foundation program here at “The Bess Pony Collection”, learning how to move each quarter separately, the one rein stop as well as to back with voice que. He has followed the big horses and mules many a mile down the trail and through the woods. He is also confident enough to lead the trail ride and will ride in a group or by himself. Rifle has been in parades and grand entries and handles the crowd and commotion with a calm ease. He has also been hauled along to roping practice and pushed the steers down the alley to the roping chute. He rides good with a saddle or bareback and both in the bridle and in the halter. Rifle has also been body clipped before and handled the clippers without any issues. He is pretty enough to be a show pony but broke enough to use as a riding pony.
