Introducing Denver, he is a unique dark bay roan gelding standing 15 hands tall and 11 years old. Denver has a nice thick build and clean legs. Denver has been used his whole life as a ranch horse and used in the feed lots to push cattle and pasture rope. He has a nice easy one hand neck rein and will move off leg. He will stop and stand nice and quiet when asked. Has a good stop and level head. He is a more whoa than go type horse. Though he is a better outside horse than arena horse he will arena ride as well. With a nice trot and picks up both leads. Just needs a little more work with the collection at a lope in the arena, but he is very willing and learning nicely. With a nice smooth one hand neck rein he is easy for anyone to ride. He always stands perfectly still to mount and dismount. He is a very easy horse to handle and work around. Has great ground manners and is not buddy sour. Stands great for the farrier, to be tacked and bridles easy. More recently we have been using him as a trail horse. He will go out in groups and by himself. He’s also given a few riding lessons.
