SL Famous Fella, aka “Denny”, is a 7 year old AQHA gelding that’s been used extensively gathering cattle on ranches across Idaho over the last year. Rides well in groups and alone. Very sure footed in rough country. Has been roped on, but never been out of a box. Started on barrels and poles. Rode at the sale yard sorting, tracking, and penning cattle. Phenomenal trail riding horse. Started using him as a lesson horse for beginners this fall. Rode through a parade in Wickenburg, AZ. Flyfished off of. You name it. Denny is not bothered by dogs or other livestock. He’s about as honest as they come. Lower geared horse, but has all the speed you’d need if you ask for it. Very athletic. Easy to catch. Middle to upper end of the pecking order. Good for the farrier. Strong feet and bone. This gelding truly can go any direction. Hate to see him go, but had some unexpected expenses and young ones coming up that need the time.
