GOLD N’ DYNAMIC "Bentley" is a registered 2014 Bay Quarter horse gelding. He stands between 15.0 and 15.2 hands. Bentley has a very sweet "in your pocket" disposition. He is very curious by nature and is incredibly smart. He is well behaved in a show/arena atmosphere and he loads/travels well. Bentley excels in the show ring, having competed all around the state of Montana and has many buckles/ribbons to show for it. He was my 4-H colt to maturity project, together we completed all the levels of the project. I purchased Bentley from a show barn in Oregon as a three year old and have owned him ever since. He is pleasure bred, and would excel in a performance setting. He is soft in the face, knows his leads, can perform flying lead changes, rollbacks, pivots and spins, side passes, squares up on the ground, stops well, and transitions smoothly between gaits - this guy has all the fancy buttons. He is willing to work, athletic, and quick on his feet. He is not a deadhead, this horse does it all and looks good doing it- bareback, western equitation, showmanship, pattern work, reining, etc. Bentley requires a confident rider that knows how to control their body and has the ability to keep him focused. He is sensitive and quick to move when asked, making him best suited for a confident intermediate or experienced rider. His only vices include that he does not stand tied well without supervision and has been known to pull back and he can be watchy outside of the arena - just needs more riding than I can give him right now. He stands well for the farrier when he is held while being shod. He bathes well, tacks well, stalls overnight, is easy to catch, meets you at the fence, and has no issues with blanketing or fly spray. Bentley has also been used for other activities including trail riding and pushing cattle. He can be ridden bareback and in a halter out in the field. He is an easy keeper! Does well around other horses, tends to be in the middle of the pecking order. He does not require any maintenance and has no health issues. He has hard feet and no confirmation issues. Bentley is up to date having had a wellness exam this spring covering his vaccinations and worming, along with being trimmed and shod by our farrier. He had a thirty day tune up this past month, and is ready for his next show partner. This is my heart horse, so a good home and fit is a MUST. I am selling him because I am moving forward to graduate school and no longer have the time to give him the love and attention he deserves. This horse has a lot to offer to another rider that is ready to move forward whether simply for pleasure or competitively. I would love to have the opportunity to see him help someone else grow and learn just as he helped me. Price may be negotiable to the right home.
