Bodie meets the ideal criteria for many riders. He has an excellent size, color, and disposition for a ladies or youth horse. Bodie has already proven himself as trustworthy with the daughter of his current owner, happily jogging around the round pen in a bareback pad. In addition, he has been used outside to gather cattle and go down the trail. He is sensible and willing to get the job done. In the arena, you can feel Bodie's reining pedigree with his slow legged, cadenced way of moving. He has three naturally rhythmic gaits. He happily lopes off on a loose rein and is uncomplicated to ride. He knows how to go around in the arena, and is currently getting a little tune up on being more elastic over his back for strengthening and carriage. He is currently being ridden in a snaffle. It wouldn't take much work to get him in a bridle. If you are looking for that quiet minded, slow legged, pretty, cuddly gelding that you can throw the kids on, ride down the trails, work cows, and one that's pretty enough to leg up to go show, look no further. Bootstrap Bodie is the man for the job!
