"Chocolate Chip" is looking for her forever ranch/trail home!! My kids absolutely love this little horse and have put a lot of time and love into training her. If you don’t like mares-- well you are in luck--- she acts more like a nice well-mannered gelding than most of my geldings! We are sure proud to offer Chocolate Chip as she is one of the good ones!! She is a finished & very experienced ranch horse. She is fantastic to brand on and will last all day. She has been on a few different pack trips scouting elk this spring and summer. She will cross creeks, deadfall, go through timber & will lead the pack while doing it!! Don’t let her size fool you--she is as wide as she is tall & will easily pack an adult all day long. We have even roped bulls off of her. She is dirty tough & you will not cripple her! She is built to last. She has also been used for breakaway, heading and heeling. We would not call her totally finished in these events but she is doing great. My 12 daughter used her for a jr rodeo in bway and heading this past Sunday and she did great! Chocolate Chip is totally sound & healthy & a very easy keeper. All 3 of my kids, ages 10-14 ride her & do great but she is not a "dead-head babysitter". She would work great for a confident kid that wants to go do stuff or an adult who wants a handy smaller horse! Chocolate Chip does sometimes need grain to be caught-- not a big deal, but is otherwise a super easy girl to get along with. Please call or text for more information.
