Smokin Boy Named Sue, or Snoozy Sue as I call him in the barn, is one of the best minded horses I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Sue is very willing and learns quickly. He is easy to handle and really sweet. He has excellent ground manners, is good for the farrier, and will stand ground tied even with the energy and chaos of a horse show going on around him. Sue has been hauled regularly to horse shows and other facilities, where he takes everything in stride. He handles new situations with curiosity and confidence. He has been to overnight horse shows as well as haul-in shows and will stand tied to a trailer all day. Sue has the same solid foundation my reining horses do. He is fancy and responsive and could easily make a great show horse. He is a pretty mover with beautiful, ground covering and comfortable gaits. He has the potential to really excel in ranch riding or western dressage classes. He has also worked with an assortment of obstacles and enjoys being on the trail. He will ride out alone or with a group. Sue is the kind of horse that you can take on a trail ride one weekend and to a horse show the next. With a little more experience, he will make a great kids horse as well. Smokin Boy Named Sue is eligible for FQHA registration (93.59% foundation, 21.88% The Continental).
