I work with him at the barn I board at.

Helo has some pros and cons.
I wouldn't say he's green broke. But somewhere in the middle.
He's very pushy and doesn't know his boundaries. An experienced rider and horse man/woman is highly recommended! Once he knows your the boss and in control. He's better.
He was riden bitless for most of his life. So getting a bridle with a bit is a challenge sometimes. We are working on this.
He would be great in the English world. Or could go any direction with the proper training and guidance.

The connemarra breed has a demeanor of a pony. So he's a big goofball. He can be very unsure at times. And turns into a fire breathing dragon. I have gained his trust over the few months I have worked with him and he doesn't do this as much anymore. He just needs more exposure.

He is a very in your pocket kind of horse.

Listens to ques when riding. Walk, trot, canter,
He has very smooth transitions.

the original owner who had him for 10 yrs and he had been a pasture pet most of his life., did mainly shorter trail rides and around the property he prefers schooling in open fields, and living with other horses as he is very social and a pony attitude which is the conemmara breed. he is registered with the conemmara society and his sire is skyview orion, a well known conemmara.
