Meet Luigi! This little ball of spice is ISO a new family to share his talents with. Luigi is broke to drive a cart and ride (although it has been a while since he has been ridden. He much prefers to drive his cart.) Luigi has participated in 4-H, and has been shown in-hand jumping courses, showmanship, and trail obstacles with his cart. He has also pulled his cart in parades! He has a long, thick, beautiful mane, a tail that drags the ground if allowed to grow, and two blue eyes. No maintenance. No known medical or lameness issues. Stands great for farrier, tied, clipping (yes, even body clipping!), and bathing. Luigi has also participated in costume classes and went trick-or-treating with the kids last year. He loves turn out and gets along better with larger horses than other minis. This makes him a superb babysitter or companion horse, too! He is currently turned out with a QH mare with her foal, and a gelding. Luigi will be a participating prop for the Freestyle Reining at QH Congress on October 4. He is able to move to his new home any time after that. Now, the cons: Sometimes he has a pony attitude and will test his handler. I would not recommend him for very young children. He sometimes needs a reminder he is not in charge. Sometimes, he needs time to settle in as well. We made sure he had ample time to settle in at 4-H shows and the county fair. We spent time walking and lunging him. He went on to place in his classes! He is NOT registered w/ AMHA, but could probably be registered as a Pinto. I am only his second owner. Selling simply to downsize our herd size. BONUS: Package deal! Cart and harness included! PPE welcome at buyer's expense.
