Spice was a happy surprise late foal to an older maiden mare. She was born in October, so will be 2 years old next month. She is a true beauty; born black and turning gray. Spice's dam is a great big but proportional mare with incredible bone and substance. Her dam is an incredibly kind and gentle mare, who is an absolute joy to be around. She was a riding mare and was loved enough to try to get a few babies from her.
Spice's sire has produced multiple winning barrel and rope horses, as well as excellent ranch horses. We have ridden many foals by him. They are smart, strong, athletic, and very cowy.

Spice should have plenty of speed as well as rate. She has some true athletes in her pedigree; Frenchmans Guy and Grays Starlight. She also goes back to Freckles Playboy, Jackie Bee, Peppy San Badger, Driftwood (4x), Leo (5x), and Sugar Bars (3x). With further speed including tracing back to Three Bars (9x), War Admiral, Man O' War, Vandy and Zantanon (4x).

Spice loves people and enjoys being around you. She has had extensive groundwork and has been saddled multiple times. She will be lightly started within the next month or so. She lunges, stands tied, has had her feet trimmed, and loads right up in a trailer.
