I have owned Riddler for approximately a year. He has gone from goofy confused baby to a smart, well started guy. He was halter broke when I got him but that was about it. I would LOVE to keep him for myself but I honestly just don't have the time that he deserves. I have to cut back on a few going into winter. I think Riddler would do best with someone that had time to be consistent with him. Unfortunately right now I just don't have the availability that he would flourish with. He has phenomenal ground manners. He will stand tied or in cross ties for hours with no fuss. He is great for the vet and farrier. He is up to date on all cares including shots, dental, dewormer and farrier. I have always kept him barefoot. Riddler loads and hauls easily. He is easy to catch, groom, saddle and bridle. He stands quietly to be mounted. He has a great walk/trot/canter. He can move off your legs and is soft in the bridle. He knows his leads if you know how to ask. He is a bit more of a kick ride and I typically ride him in spurs. I think Riddler is a great prospect for dressage. He has some trail experience and is used to the dogs racing around. He has spooked a few times but has been easy to bring back when he gets scared. He is very smart and level headed for 3 but he is still quite young and is not suitable for a beginner or child. Riddler has gotten along with everyone I have turned him out with. He likes to play but isn't a jerk about it. He is an easy keeper and is currently on 2 quarts of Tribute Growth per day. Riddler really has the quality of movement to go any direction. He is a soft quiet mover and is super eye catching. I was told when I bought him that he is a draft cross. I don't believe he is a high percentage of draft as he doesn't really have a ton of heavy bone. My vet's best guess is a Paint/draft cross.
