***OWNER CURRENTLY HIGLY MOTIVATED. ORIGINAL ASKING PRICE HAS JUST BEEN CUT IN HALF IN HOPES OF A QUICK AND UNCOMPLICATED SALE.*** 3 y/o Honeste Vivere, a dressage bred gelding with a solid pedigree will be sure to turn heads in the show ring with his well balanced build, his fluid movement, black colouring, masculine head and strong, compact body. Handled daily since birth, ‘Casper’ has developed a bold personality and a curious nature; he’s easy to work with and is very trusting. Standing at 17 HH he’s amazingly balanced and uphill in all gaits and is showing beautiful elasticity, balance and suspension. With 24/7 turnout with lots of hills to run, he’s muscled up, is sure footed, athletic and carries himself with presence. It is evident that he has a great deal of raw talent. Casper has top international Grand Prix competitors on both sides of his pedigree! With his super gaits, powerful trot and canter this gelding has strongly been stamped by his sire, the late Blue Hors Hotline (Hofrat/De Niro/Wendepunkt. Hotline won both his Hanoverian licensing in 2005 and his 70 day performance test scoring a 10 from both test riders. With a dressage index over 149.28 he went on to a very successful career in international Grand Prix dressage earning spots repeatedly on the danish national team. In 2016 Hotline was named danish stallion of the year and in 2018 he achieved the honour of being named 20th on the WBFSH ranking list for dressage stallions world wide. He was truly an exceptional sire. Casper is out of Fabricati Diem, a stunning black, sweet and mild mannered mare sired by the Premium Black Westfalen dressage stallion, Freestyle. She successfully passed on all her good traits and amazing qualities to her offspring. Casper is registered with the C.W.H.A. He’s halter broken, ties, enjoy bathes and has beautiful, solid feet. With his puppy dog type personality Casper is a horse who will follow you to the round pen when it’s time to work because he enjoys the attention so much. His ground work is solid; he w/t/c’s off a suggestion, yields his hind quarters, has good lateral flexion and has accepted a saddle. With his ‘born broke’ disposition, Casper has been lightly started under saddle this summer and is progressing very well in his training; he stands well to be mounted, goes w/t, bends, steers and slows off your seat. He is really starting to read his rider’s energy. He was willing to be ridden off the property out alone on his 3rd time out of the round pen being the bold boy he is. He also loads and unloads out of the trailer like a champ. He’s easy to catch, is used to dogs and farm equipment, is very healthy, sound and injury free. Located in Chilliwack. B.C.
