Reluctantly offered: Indygo Dance, ‘Indy’ Indy is a flashy 2013 Chestnut OTTB standing 16h. He is up to date on Coggins, vaccinations, dental care, and farrier. He does wear front shoes to help with his typical TB feet. He is generally a good boy for needles, farrier, and tied. Loads and hauls nicely, even alone. Eats and drinks like a champ when traveling and in new spots. He can get a little antsy if he has a friend who then gets taken away. Indy is an easy keeper, especially for a TB, and has lived outside the entire time I’ve had him (we do blanket in the winter and fly gear in the summer). He has done well in a mixed herd. Indy has had a lot of groundwork and under saddle training, including boarding and training over last winter from October through April. He absolutely loves and excels at groundwork working toward liberty. Indy would be best for an experienced rider in a regular program, as under saddle he gets anxious, especially outside. In new situations he can be spooky and reactive. He does better in an arena or area he knows well with more predictability. However, he has improved drastically from where he was initially. When he’s on, he is a blast to ride! His canter is so smooth and beautiful. Unfortunately, with my current schedule and 2 small children I just simply do not have the time to spend with him that he needs to build his confidence. Prepurchase was performed in 2022 and x-rays of hocks, stifles, and front feet are available upon request. Vet checks are welcome at buyer’s expense. Located in Detroit Lakes, MN.
