Respectable ground manners, easy to lunge, stands to be mounted, ties and hauls well. Currently barefoot and stands great for farrier. Athena gets along with other horses in a pasture setting. No health issues or soundness issues. Teeth and shots done in August 2024.

Athena was started lightly by an amateur when she turned 4. After completing three months of professional training in our program, she is now ready to find her new home. Athena offers a smooth and easy ride, enjoying a relaxed tempo but will pick up the pace when requested. She remains consistent in her performance, whether at home or off-property, making her predictable in various settings. If she ever displays a minimal spook, it's simply out of curiosity as a young horse and nothing dangerous.

We are currently working on strengthening to improve her topline and achieve consistency in her movements. Although her canter is still developing, with time it will become more uphill and steady. She started her training bitless and is adapting well to the concept of contact in a snaffle. She is currently ridden in a three-piece lozenge eggbutt bit as well as bitless in a halter. Athena shows no signs of bucking, rearing, bolting, or biting.

Best fit would be an aspiring youth rider with a trainer, AA on budget or a simple trail home/someone wanting a safe horse to play around on.
