Dove is being sold at no fault of her own. Due to drastic life changes, I am finding that it is difficult for me to keep up with the expenses of owning a horse (especially a Thoroughbred). I am not in a rush to sell, as I would be giving up my dream. I have only owned Dove since July 26, 2024, but she has already proven to be a solid horse. She responds quickly when lunged, is eager to please (and food motivated!), and rides like a dream. I originally purchased her to continue my growing hobby of mounted archery, and she took to this with ease. Arrows firing all around her from any direction did not even phase her. When riding, she transitions into gaits easily. I have only ridden her a handful of times, but she has never given me any reason to doubt her (I will get videos). She is a mare chock-full of sweet personality, and will instantly become your best friend. She is a fairly easy keeper, and is currently being fed 2 flakes hay 2x/day, 8lb alfalfa pellets 1x/day, and 4lb complete feed 1x/day. She is currently on a break due to soreness caused by her heel being trimmed too low and her toe being left too long on the fronts. All four feet are shod l, and it is recommended it remains that way if any regular riding or movement on hard surfaces is going to take place (xrays showed flat feet, and four shoes has helped her immensely). I have a PPE report from 07/25/24 available, and can request the xray images that were taken of her hooves, pasterns, stifles, and hocks.
