Rico stands 15h, weighs about 980lb with beautiful reddish bay coloring, 2 front socks and a heart shaped star. Deep chested, with thick cannons, a flat croup and smooth gaits. Primarily ridden on desert trails alone or with others, but does very well in arena if that is your calling. Started late (8yo) by previous owner and for the past four years has had natural horsemanship training on the ground and under saddle. Can go barefoot, but I keep fronts on him as we ride over some very rocky terrain. Rides Western or English. Not hot headed, will go the speed you ask for. Works off your seat and legs very well, no need to micromanage his mouth. Super easy keeper - hay is all he needs but he does love when you come bearing carrots ;).
