Special is the sweetest pony we’ve ever met, he has a calm and sweet demeanor with a huge heart and lots of try.
This pony does not have a mean bone in his body, I have never seen him anything but calm and quiet!!
Special had done a little bit of everything and a lot of trail riding and packing kids around! This horse is THE definition of a babysitter! He has taken care of kids as young as 4&5 in the arena and out on the trail!! He is slow, steady and trustworthy. He did a couple years of 4-H so he knows western patterns, lightly knows the gymkhana patterns, excels in the western pleasure ring and knows how to set up and trot off for showmanship. Special has also been started English and jumping (which he absolutely loved) and he has a very cute tuck with a lot of scope! We’ve jumped him up to 3” with lots of room to go higher with consistency.
Specials favorite is trail riding, whether in the mountains or in town he is always happy on the trails, he is used to all kinds of commotion and scary objects! He’s fine with crowds, music, traffic, dogs, kids running around, strollers, bikes, trains etc. We take him to the drive thru to get coffee on the weekends as well!
Special truly lives up to his name and is one of a kind guy?
Special stands for the vet and farrier, self loads and backs out, gets along with all other horses in the pasture (is the bottom of the pecking order) and has great ground manners.
