Luke is a twenty year young pure bred Morgan gelding. He is a handsome big bodied horse and looks like a smaller Warm Blood. I have his papers to register him but never sent them in, so I know all of his breeding. I have owned and ridden Luke consistently since 2015. He is a great trail horse and good mover, I have done lower level dressage with him. My intention when I ride now is to be soft, kind and connected. He likes arena work if it is interesting and probably prefers the trail if he was going to choose. Before he came to me the man that had him did a lot of outback camping/riding with him..I think he really enjoyed that.

Due to a life change I do not have as much time for him and he still has a solid 10 years on him or more. He has great teeth and feet, very healthy and sound, and I have taken very good care of him. He likes to get out and have a job..He is smart, and curious and needs an experienced, kind, and confidant rider. He is level headed on the trail. Prefers to not be the lead but seems more comfortable in the middle or back. In the arena he knows beginning level dressage moves and is well behaved..No buck or rear..
I am looking for someone to do an in barn lease or half lease. He lives in Arroyo Grande, California on a grape vineyard ranch. Ride through the vineyards about 80 acres, with others to ride with..or ride in a large well groomed arena and round pen. Its a lovely well kept place and the horses are also well cared for. You would be able to use my dressage saddle and tack for him. He can also easily go western but need your own tack.
