She stands about 14.3 hands tall and still growing and filling out, but she is an eye catcher already. She has the paint color with a little bit of feathering and defiantly has that Friesian movement she naturally picks up her feet higher and fancier. She catches attention where ever she goes. She already has a good neck rein on her and knows how to move her shoulders and hindquarters. She takes her cue for a canter right away and knows how to stop off of your seat. She is a quick learner it doesn’t take much for her to catch on to new things. The one thing I really like about her is how curious she is. If she sees something new she hasn’t seen before most of the time she’ll walk right up to it and want to check it out. So her curious nature really helps a lot with how quick she learns. She has a lot of experience already for her age and she’s NEVER offered to do anything crazy or stupid. She’s a sensible mare with a good head on her shoulders. She’s been in the river, crosses creeks, logs, and bridges. Stands still to mount, for tacking, and excellent for the Ferrier. She’s fine with traffic it doesn’t really seem to bother her at all. She’s even seen the train and that didn’t scare her! She’s been started with hobbles. She rides away from home alone just fine doesn’t care if she leaves the other horses behind. She’s fine to ride front or back. Loads right up in the trailer and backs right out hauls quiet. She’s very friendly so much so that she gets a bit annoying. Anytime you go out in her pasture she’s on your tail everywhere she’s for sure an in your pocket type of horse. She just loves to be loved on and she can’t get enough attention; she thinks she’s the main attraction out in the field LOL. Gets along fine out in the herd low to middle of the pecking order doesn’t matter mares or geldings. She has a nice trot that’s easy to sit to and her canter is very smooth as well, but she can also move out and do an extended trot too. She can do the miles as well; she’s been on a few longer trips and she’s handled them with ease. She’s at the perfect age to continue her into whatever direction you want to take her or keep her as just a trail horse because she makes an awesome fun little trail partner. But she would be very sharp doing dressage or jumping with her color and movement she really catches the eye. In fact out on the trail she can do a nice smooth little jump over the bigger logs. She has been roped off from a little so she has a little bit of experience with roping a small calf and holding it. Sparkles has been started in the right way with natural horsemanship and is ready to go furthe
