ONLINE AUCTION Place your bids at www.PlatinumEquineAuction.com Starting Bid $3500 Auction ends October 20th, 2024 Need a new saddle? Check out White Rock Saddles on our website or Facebook! “Romeo" - 15.1H, 15 year old bay roan grade quarter horse gelding This guy is just a no-nonsense solid citizen that everyone enjoys having around. When we take him places, we regularly get: "Dang, that's a really good horse". He is just genuine, honest, and always there for his rider. He is exceptionally kind and has a friendly and endearing personality. Romeo was used on a ranch when he was younger, he has been in a feed yard, been used for 4H and for playdays, and has even done some entry level ranch versatility shows. He is exceptionally good in town. He has been in lots of parades and grand entries and he has been ridden to the store and back many many times. He rides out confidently alone, and relaxed in a group. He will go anywhere you want to be in a group of horses, level headed and relaxed, ZERO jigging - happy to lead or to follow. He is sure footed and careful, but confident and willing to tackle anything you point him at. He is great to catch, the first one up to you out in the pasture, happy stall or barn kept to, gets along well with any mix of horses, he ties quietly, is good for the farrier and the vet, loves a bath, easy to groom and pick feet, saddle, and drops his head to be bridled. He hops right on the trailer if you just point him at it, and rides relaxed, and stands tied to the side of the trailer quietly. We have been using this guy in our small lesson program and a couple of the ladies that ride with us are very interested in him for their husbands (if they can get their husbands to pull the trigger and bid!). He is one we would love to still have around here locally and be able to borrow for camps or lessons - he makes teaching easy! We have tons of additional videos of this guy! To see additional videos, go to our website: BusterHorses.com or our Facebook page Buster Horses Romeo was just shod this past week, his teeth were also done by an equine dentist two weeks ago, and he had his sheath cleaned, his ears were preemptively treated for ticks, and he was also power packed wormed. He is good to shoe, has great feet and also goes well barefoot - if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled and trim him prior to him heading to his new home. He will arrive at his new home up-to-date and ready to go to work! Please call anytime for more information at 214-605-7174
