Barn name “Boon” Good young gelding - 5 yr old, 15HH built heavy with a lot of shape- all the color- head turner. Bred out of Texas and grown up on a big ranch in New Mexico, used to gather cattle, check fences and ridden in the rough country. He is no stranger to many miles and a long days work. He also has time with professional trainer Hector Uribe of Uribe training in AZ where he was started slow and correct in tracking and roping the dummy. This boy will be a prime candidate as a head/heel horse, break away or continue on as a ranch horse or use him on the trail/mountains as he will go through about anything. Responsive to your leg and seat, soft in the face. Is kind and friendly, not a hot or blown up type. Has a lot to give and is very smart. Does love attention. Our family have all ridden him from Dad to teenage daughter. He can get around catty and athletic. Foundation quarter horse breeding Stands tied, loads and hauls well, good for the farrier, good to bathe, easy to catch. Sound and no maintenance - UTD teeth, dewormer and coggins. He is registered as a bay roan and has the brown undercoat but he has been going more and more blue. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY - good fit and home is the priority. He is already priced at bottom dollar - I have no problem keeping him, we just have ALOT of young horses to ride and not near enough time to keep everything ridden. Time to offer a couple up for sale. Video and more info available upon request.
