Ruger is a 2013, 16hh, registered Appaloosa. I have owned him for the last 5 years as an advanced youth rider. He is being listed only because he does not enjoy the discipline that I am currently leaning heavily toward (gaming/Barrel.) I am also a full-time college student and I am not able to give him the time that he deserves. Ruger has dabbled in just about everything - he can be ridden English or Western and has experience with sorting, flag carrying, trails, dressage and jumping. He has been through the 4h program the last 4 years and over all has been a very well rounded horse. He bathes, does well with the farrier (usually wears shoes during riding season),loads/unloads well in a slant load (never been in a straight load) does well on trails, he is sound and requires no maintenance. Ruger has been taken to shows, camps and rodeos. He stalls well at events but has been known to pull back at the trailer while tied at events. He does well in a group of horses but is regularly ridden alone also. Would like to see Ruger go to a home with horse knowledge and an intermediate + level of riding skill. ——He would not thrive in a gaming home—— he lacks the ability to bring himself back down when put in the gaming scene and tends to get very worked up. He is currently boarded and an indoor arena on Sandpoint, Id. Please message me if you would like to come meet him! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/hFHWxT9vgABWEXqK/
