Cindy Lou is a really cool 14.1 hand mare that exhibits that old soul personality. She is a very pretty smutty buckskin with good conformation. She’s 4 yrs old but acts like a much older horse. She was ridden in her previous home by an 8 yr old boy. He rode her everywhere. She was definitely started by someone that knew what they were doing. She will walk, trot, lope as asked. She naturally wants to carry her head level. She will pick up her leads. She flexes both ways and follows her nose. She will move off your leg a little bit. She’s ready for any job you want to give her. Or just use her for trail riding and ranch work like she’s been doing.
Cindy Lou will ride through town, ride in traffic, go up and down stairs, go over a bridge and even ride next to a train. She’s gone through the McDonald’s drive thru. She’s been ridden to the convenience store for a soda. All of this with that 8 yr old kid.
She’s a trail riding machine and will go through brush. She will go up and down hills when you point her there. She will cross water and go over logs. She’s seen motorcycles, bikes, horse drawn wagons and joggers on the trail and not phased by any of it. She’s been ridden around tractors, equipment and ATV’s.
Cindy Lou will gladly pack you, your kid or your granddad around the ranch to gather and pen cows. You can rope and drag calves to the fire on her. Or ride her out to get your daily count and check for sickness in your herd. You can load trucks on her. Or just spend the day checking fences on her. She will side pass to open and close gates. She is absolutely the ultimate little ranch horse that is the perfect size for someone that doesn’t want a big horse. She has a heart bigger than Texas and will never quit you.
