Knox is a correct, athletic colt foaled June 2nd, 2024, and he will be available at weaning towards the end of November. He is by a Hackney stallion and out of a mare who is 3/4 Percheron and 1/4 Quarter Horse, making him 3/8 draft. Knox is a bold and personable colt who appears to be quite trainable thus far; he’s easy to catch, is halter broke to lead, and has been kept on a regular trimming schedule. He string tests to a bit over 16 hands and should have plenty of substance for those wanting a sturdy but more compact type. His dam (who will also be available once she returns to training after weaning) is incredibly laid back and friendly, and she’s reasonably athletic, so the addition of a Hackney has created a fancier but still very sensible colt!
