Copper is the best. One of my favorites. He is short but stocky and very surefooted. Handles terrain like a champ. No tripping like some gaited horses can be. He has a nice forward walk, but not super fast. He can flat walk, fox trot, saddle gait and canter. He knows all the arena work. Leg yields, side pass, open gates, turn on forehand and haunches. He bends well and is supple. He just wants to please his rider and be a good boy. I have desensitize him to so many things and have taken him all around on different trails including the beach. He never disappoints. He will ride front or back, the rider ahead can even get pretty far ahead without him getting upset. He trailers like a dream and jumps right in and backs out like a pro. He is an easy keeper, great feet, clean legs. Recent vet check with no issues. I have been having so much fun. But now it is time for someone else to enjoy this sweet gelding. He is not papered but was DNA tested and vet has verified his age. If your looking for a fun horse and you have some riding skills, he maybe what your looking for. I would not recommend a nervous rider since he has some energy in his walk. I have many more videos and pictures on my website. I am a gaited horse trainer in California. All horses are tested and trained before I post them. Questions welcomed.
