Here’s your guy!
Kona has a great handle and the most lovable personality. The first guy to greet you at the gate and is always up for any adventure you have planned. Same ride every time with a “go with the flow” attitude. Moves out well on trails and has packed my beginner friends around the past few months.
He has all the buttons you could want on a horse - collection, reverse arcs, spins and a solid stop. I’ve steer stopped and tracked dummies off of on/off the last year. He stays in position and loves working around cows. Kona has been showing a promising future as a team roping, breakaway, or even a solid ranch horse. Loads, hauls, ties, and leads well.
Sire was AQHA old school foundation with Blue Valentine and Hancock bloodlines. Dam was a phenomenal rodeo horse excelling in the roping pen (head, heel, and breakaway) - unfortunately no papers to show for her hence being grade.
NO MAINTENANCE - Sound and Sane.
I keep him barefoot but is easy to shoe all the way around.
