Aspen's grandsire is the one and only Gunners Special Nite, the 7 million dollar reining stallion. Although she has been bred to be a Reiner we have done everything with this solid, gritty mare over the years.

She has been on 6-day pack trips in the mountains, leading the pack string. She has been down several rugged and rough terrains around the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota. This mare has been broke enough to be ridden bareback in a halter but still has all the buttons you would expect out of a finished horse.

Aspen hauls great and has no problem standing tied all night at the trailer, sleeping in a strange stall, being hobbled, or high-lined. She will also drink her share of water and stay fat and happy with just grass hay. She will cross water, bridges or downed trees with ease. This horse has been ridden down busy roads with large trucks, in cow pastures, and in busy warmup arenas.

This is truly one of those horses that is willing to do it all.
