Professor Scotch Whiskey 2012 AQHA mare. 14.3hh. Gorgeous dark chocolate chestnut with big feet lots of bone and a freaky thick tail! She does all the things in the arena you could want. She will collect and slow jog, extend, collected lope and extended. She backs easy, two tracks, side passes and has an amazing whoa. More push style ride. She’ll happily walk around on a loose rein. Her training was primarily as a Reiner and ranch rider. But she has been owned by youth kids who did a lot of different things with her from ohset and 4H to stock horse shows, trail riding, playdays, cow sorting and rodeo queening! Rides western, English and bareback. Has played with the gaming events (barrels, poles, stake race) and while she isn’t the fastest and I wouldn’t say it’s her favorite thing, she’s safe. Whiskey has packed a flag, been used in a drill team, been in full queen regalia for parades and done rodeo queen grand entries. She shines as a rodeo queen horse! Great out on trails. Walks right out and is happy to be in the front or back or alone. Shes sure footed and confident. Whiskey is fun and safe on cattle. shes gritty in the sorting and I think she would rock it in the boxing. We’ve played with roping the dummy on her. She doesn’t mind a rope being thrown all around her. She would be ideal for ranch riding/ VRH events, 4-H, OHSET/ WAHSET, rodeo queening, drill team/ flag girl horse etc. She enjoys working having a job and will go all day happily. Loads and hauls like a dream. Stands great for the farrier. No crazy shoeing needs. Clips perfectly, Ties, crossties, bathes. Loves being groomed and pampered, I would not consider her “marish” Excellent ground manners, she’s very good at showmanship too. Sound, standard maintenance and UTD on all care. X-rays available. Nothing to hide on this awesome mare! I really adore her, but her kid is just too busy to keep 2 horses going. Send me a message to come try this great mare!
