Beau is an 8 year old registered Friesian/Tennessee Walking Horse cross gelding. He is 16.2hh and a gorgeous solid bay color. This boy has the best personality and is an extremely fast learner. He has no white on his body except for his uniquely colored left front leg. Beau is sure to turn heads wherever he goes. The well known Friesian stallion, Wander 352, is his grandsire! He is very well mannered for the farrier, clipping, bathing, deworming, saddling, bridling, tying, etc. I've never met a horse that aims to please more than Beau. He loves his people more than anything and will do anything asked of him. This boy is a mover. He naturally has the long Friesian strides but is very light on the bit. He currently rides in just a plain d-ring snaffle. He has been ground driven at the walk/trot and definitely has potential to drive but I have ever hooked him up to anything. Under saddle Beau has been ridden heavily at the walk/trot and has a rocking horse canter. He is learning collection, yielding and breaking at the poll very well but needs tuned and finished. Beau side passes and backs nicely. I do not have anything bad to say about this boy, he is just not getting used like he should be since I recently had a baby. The opportunities with this boy are endless and I am extremely sad to even be writing this post. I would love to see Beau excel in dressage and put his natural strides to use although he would also thrive as a versatile mount. He has been to a handful of shows/fairs and loves to go out on the trails. He isn't spooky and will cross or go through anything. Beau has never bucked, bit, reared or done anything dangerous. He is utd on his coggins, rabies, hoof trimming, deworming and teeth floating.
