Moon is an eight year old BLM Mustang mare looking for a forever home! She is very loving and sweet. She is broke and is a smooth ride. Moon is sound and currently barefoot, but would also do great with shoes on. She stands for the farrier and easily loads in and out of the trailer, and stands 14.3 hands tall. Moon has a lot of stamina and would do best in an active lifestyle home, with an intermediate to experienced rider. At times she can be cautious of things she isn't sure of, but will lean on her trust in her rider/handler. Moon does best when she trusts the people she is around, and loves to please. She is very smart and a very fast learner, remembering training sessions and commands quickly. She does great with other horses and does not challenge for pecking order. She holds her weight very well, and has great teeth. Moon has pulled tarps and calmly walked along side highways, moving objects, and also does great with hoses and spray bottles. She listens very well under the saddle, as well as on the ground. She has a slit in her right ear, and a bump on her left shoulder. I bought her with her slit and bump, and neither bother her or cause any medical issues. I had a vet check on her, and was verified that it does not interfere with the saddle or soundness in anyway, and could have the bump removed if desired. Moon has been hobbled a few times and is learning how it works very quickly. She was dewormed in April and will be ready for a fall deworming.
