Not a one in a million horse 🐴 but a once in a lifetime horse 🐎. He has the looks the confirmation, skill set and safe disposition! Skilled in the arena, out on the trail, and ridden through town, a true all around guy. He will ride bridleless or bareback with just a halter and lead rope. He’s a great mover with a rocking horse lope. Catrin is the same boy every ride even with extended time off. A true confidence builder and a best friend. He will ride with or without spurs, loves a bath, fly sprays, loads, hauls, shoes, and clips with ease. We’ve had riders of all skill levels on him and he will go into a gait that is comfortable for anyone, if you can sit you can ride. He has been used extensively on gathering cows, trail, riding, parades and playdays events. He has has been around barrels, and poles but never finished. Catrin crosses water is used to traffic, horns, motorcycles, farm animals, wagons, music , bags, and flags. He has also been used to halter break colts, used as a pickup horse and gets along good with other horses. Catrin can be leisurely or take him to arena and compete in anything, talk about versatile. He knows all the maneuvers walk, trot, lope, slide stops, lead changes, spins fast both ways and backs up as fast as you ask him to. He’s a bunch of fun 🤩 for an experienced rider, but can turn it down and lope around for the kids or babysit. With excellent manners on the ground and under saddle, he’s a family favorite, the kids fight over him. Always in your back pocket in the first to meet you at the gate. With a thick sturdy build fantastic hooves he was made to last. Absolutely NO nonsense, no spook, no buck, no rear, or bolting. As an added plus he is tricked trained, will lay down, sit up, and pick up a rope. Catrin is completely sound, sane, and healthy.
