Ellie Mae is a 12 year old cross mare that stands 13.15HH and is as cute as a button! She’s the perfect size, and demeanor to save for that little one to put under the tree! 🎄🎅🏼
Ellie Mae has been very well loved and is ready to be enjoyed by her next family! She is great in the arena, on the trails and even in town! She loves to be the center of attention and to be pampers, groomed and loved on! She’s been ridden extensively and has done many things!

Ellie Mae is a true veteran when it comes to the trails! She’s packed beginners and inexperienced husbands all over and goes anywhere they point her! She loves the water, crosses over logs, and doesn’t spook at wildlife. She will ride in a group or out alone with no problems. She is sure footed and takes care of her riders!
In the arena, Ellie Mae does everything you ask and has been desensitized to everything from tarps and barking dogs to flags, lawn mowers and so much more! She is a more woah than go type of girl and prefers to do the basic walk / trot but will canter with encouragement! She will usually get her leads as well. She is soft in the bridle and will collect up at the trot and will also extend out! She would be best suited for someone with the goals of enjoying the slow life and no desire to win a horse race! She thrived in town and would be great for someone wanting to participate in mounted patrol, parades or therapy events!
Ellie Mae is so so easy to own and is not marish at all! She stays to herself when pastured with geldings, and does not act like a moody mare. She stands tied all day long, is a great patient for the farrier and vet! She is easy to catch, blanket, and load! She has no buck, bite, bolt, or rear no matter how much time she’s had off! She can even be ridden bareback and in a halter with no problems!
Riders from 5’2 to 5’11 have ridden her in our program with no problems!
Ellie Mae is UTD on everything and also passed a vet check. She is barefoot, and a very easy keeper. She does not have any vices. She is ready to go and be loved and enjoyed. She’s located at our ranch in Lufkin, Texas and we can help arrange shipping anywhere!
