Who's looking for a 🦄 on a budget?! Look no further than "Chaika", one of the sweetest and most uncomplicated mares you'll ever meet. If you are not a mare fan, she will make you one. Total barn favorite and is adored by everyone who meets her. And no - I'm not just hyping her up for the ad; she really is the BEST girl. There are simply too many good things to say about her, so let's start with the bad instead. 🟥: She gets itchy during the summer here in FL. For this reason, I am ideally looking for a home out of FL (she came from NY and had no issues there - I suspect anywhere out of florida would do her wonders) OR a home here that can go to greater lengths to control the itching (allergy testing/shots?) To clarify - she is perfectly fine with the heat. No breathing problems, she sweats great, etc. This is the sole reason for her sale and yes, it's her only vice! 🟩: She has a wonderful brain, great work ethic, and is a fast learner. (Have I used all the buzz words yet?). She only had 2 starts (too slow!) and was properly let down for awhile before being restarted early 2023. She is SO smart; her first ride back this year after SIX MONTHS off was right after a hurricane - there was a lot of wind and loud machinery nearby, yet she w/t/c around the ring like she hadn't had a day off! And that was with NO prep whatsoever, you don't need to lunge this girl unless you want to. If you're looking for a greenie that is easy enough for an amateur (Hi! I'm that amateur!🤣), fancy enough for the show ring, versatile enough to do any discipline, and is still in the 4 figures - this is your girl. She... leads, ties, loads, trailers, lunges, and stands to be... clipped, groomed, bathed, vetted, trimmed, tacked, mounted, and hugged 😉. Is trained to a whistle and comes when called. She's great around traffic and vehicles - will stick her entire head in your car asking for a treat. Heck, she even ponies off a golf cart. She is barefoot and has excellent feet; she's never been lame while I've had her or had any sort of health issue besides for the allergies. Easy keeper (for a TB, at least), 2 scoops of Tribute Kalm Ultra and 2 flakes of T&A per day. Undersaddle she is green but so willing. No buck/bite/bolt/rear and is not marish in the slightest (used to share a fence line with a stallion for months and she was perfectly behaved!). She goes W/T/C both ways (english and bareback) and has been introduced to small jumps which she loves. Goes in a snaffle and has a soft mouth. Big walk, floaty trot, super comfortable canter. Isn't too sensitive and isn't too kick-along - she's the perfect balance of both. She has been off-property on trails. Is out 24/7, but can be stalled. Great with all animals. Lots of groundwork and desensitizing has been done with her. UTD on everything and papers in hand. Plenty of photos and videos available to the serious b
