Cloud
2014 AQHA gelding. 15hh. Gorgeous palomino with big feet and a long thick tail!
Cloud does all the things in the arena you would expect. He will walk, extend walk, slow jog, extend, collected lope and extended. He backs easy, two tracks, side passes and has an amazing big stop. More push style ride and on the lazy side. He’s all too happy to walk around on a loose rein!!
His training was exclusively as a Reiner and ranch rider. He has 7 open AQHA ranch riding points and has qualified for the VRH world show in Sr Ranch Riding.
Cloud has been exposed the last two years to different things from 4H ride nights, to stock horse shows, trail riding, open shows and cow sorting!
Great out on trails. Walks right out and is happy to be in the front leading the way or alone. He’s sure footed and confident.
Cloud is fun and safe on cattle. He’s green in the sorting but has a lot of drive and try and I think he would rock it in the boxing as well. We have worked the flag cow a bit.
We’ve played with roping the dummy on him. He doesn’t mind a rope being thrown off him.
He would be ideal to return to the ranch riding/ VRH pen, 4-H, OHSET/ WAHSET, or take him a totally different path of your choice!
He enjoys being loved on and having a job.
Loads and hauls like a dream. Straight or slant load. Backs out like a gentleman.
Stands great for the farrier. No special shoeing needs.
Ties, crossties, bathes. Not a fan of clippers. Excellent ground manners.
Sound, no maintenance and UTD on all care. Vet records available. Nothing to hide on this awesome gelding!
I would LOVE to keep this guy in the barn, but his kid has switched to a WP horse, so he needs a new partner.
