Meet Koffee she’s a 12 yr old 15.2 hand Belgian/Quarter Horse Draft cross mare. She is nice and chunky/drafty so she can easily carry a bigger rider comfortably. She is a gorgeous silver dapple with that deep chocolaty color, blaze, white feet, and a flaxen mane and tail! I get compliments everywhere I go with her constantly getting stopped having people inform me how pretty she is. So if you want a real eye catcher here she is.
Koffee is a very good trail machine she crosses any water, bridges, and logs. Forget about the steep hills she tackles them with ease. She’s very sure footed in fact it’s rather nice having a horse that watches their step on the trail so they aren’t constantly tripping over roots and rocks.
She has tough feet she can go with or without shoes. Stands good for the Ferrier/tacking/ and mounting. She’s easy to catch very friendly. Gets along out in the pasture on the low to middle of the pecking order. Loads right up in the trailer and backs right out. She’s an easy keeper NO maintenance required. NO bad habits or vices.
She rides away from home alone just fine and will separate on the trail. And she may be drafty, but she can handle the distance no problem the farthest we have taken her is 10 miles and she handled it with ease. She has a get her done attitude nothing phases her easily.
She’s fine with traffic. Is NOT easily spooked. She has a nice smooth easy to sit to canter and a smooth trot as well. She is what I would consider a “husband safe” horse. You can put someone that knows enough on her and just stick them in the back of the pack and she’ll take care of them and just follow right along and go with the flow. So she’s pretty easy to get along with that way.
