🐎 Who is looking for a big girl? 🐎

Angelita is a 15 year old IALHA registered Andalusian mare that stands a whopping 16.3h tall and is as thick as she is tall. She has been used for lessons, trail rides, camping and in the arena as well as a broodmare. She had a gorgeous, long legged Warlander filly for us this year but was left open after our poorly timed first breeding this year found her to still be open. We decided she to refresh her under saddle after weaning her filly. We are offering her for a new home only due to refocusing our breeding program on our more drafty type Friesian crosses. When we got her saddled up after weaning her filly, she rode off quiet and laid back even with it being well over a year since she was last ridden. She is being ridden several times a week now to get her back into shape. She would make a perfect w/t type beginner lesson horse. She will canter but takes more leg to get going than most beginners can give. She is definitely more woah than go if you let her. She does good popping over small jumps in our arena and logs on the trail as well.

Angelita is UTD on hoof care, vaccinations and deworming and will have a current coggins pulled next week. She is a very easy keeper, she’s currently barefoot and stays fat on basic pasture in the growing season and mixed alfalfa/grass hay bales in the winter.

Reducing her price due to some large vet bills coming our way from an accident with one of our younger horses. It does not reflect her quality in any way though!
